Terms of sale
These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products from thechauffeur.club, operated by THECHAUFFEURC LLC("The Chauffeur Club," "we," "us"). They work alongside our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy. Where those documents conflict on a point of sale, these Terms of Sale govern.
1. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Products are sold for personal, household use only. We do not sell for resale, and we may cancel orders that appear to come from resellers or distributors.
2. How an order is formed
Product listings on our site are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. Your order is an offer to buy.
Placing an order triggers an automatic confirmation email. That email acknowledges receipt — it does not accept your order. The contract of sale is formed only when we email you to confirm that your order has shipped.
Until that point, we may decline or cancel any order, including where the product is unavailable, where a listing contained a pricing or description error, where we suspect fraud or a reseller, or where we cannot deliver to your address. If we cancel after payment, we refund you in full within 10 business days.
3. Prices and taxes
All prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Applicable state and local sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and shown before you pay.
Prices may change at any time, but the price that applies to your order is the one displayed at checkout when you place it. Promotional prices apply only while the promotion runs and cannot be applied retroactively.
Pricing errors. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund the order.
4. Payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout through our payment processor. We accept the cards and payment methods shown at checkout.
By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the information is accurate. If your payment is declined or reversed, we may cancel the order.
We do not store your full card details; these are handled by our payment processor under its own terms.
Chargebacks. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at info@thechauffeur.club. We resolve nearly everything within a day. Filing a chargeback without contacting us delays resolution for both of us.
5. Product description and variation
Each bed is upholstered by hand. Small variations in stitching, seam placement, and fabric shade between units are characteristic of the product, not defects.
Listed dimensions are approximate and may vary by up to one inch. Screen rendering of color varies by device; we cannot guarantee an exact match to what you see.
Sizing is your responsibility. Please measure your dog and compare against the size chart on the product page before ordering. A bed that fits the listed specification but not your dog is not a defect — but see our Return Policy, which covers a first size exchange at our cost.
6. Intended use
These are decorative indoor pet beds. They are furnishings — not toys, not chew products, not travel crates, and not restraint or safety equipment. They must never be used to carry or secure an animal in a moving vehicle.
Decorative components may present a choking or blockage hazard if chewed off and swallowed. Supervise your dog, inspect the product regularly, and stop using it if any part comes loose. Follow the care label; the cover is machine washable as directed, the foam base is not.
7. Limited warranty
We warrant that for 12 months from delivery, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use by a dog within the weight range listed for that size.
If a defect appears in that period, email info@thechauffeur.club with your order number and photos. At our option we will repair, replace, or refund the product.
This warranty does not cover: chewing, scratching, digging, or other damage caused by an animal; normal wear, fading, flattening of foam, or pilling of fabric; damage from improper washing, bleach, heat, or outdoor use; damage from use outside the stated weight range; accidents, misuse, or modification; or products bought from anyone other than us.
This warranty is offered to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Except as stated in this section, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental damages, so parts of this may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
8. Title and risk of loss
Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the product to the address you supplied. Delivery timelines and lost-package handling are covered in our Shipping Policy.
9. Cancellation, returns and refunds
You may cancel at no cost before your order ships — see our Shipping Policy for the window and the process.
After delivery, our Return Policy applies: a 90-day guarantee, free return shipping where a return is required, and a first size exchange covered both ways. That policy forms part of these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to a product or order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, property damage, or veterinary expenses, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, labor action, supply shortages, and government measures.
12. Entire agreement and changes
These Terms of Sale, together with the Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between us regarding your purchase.
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version. The version in force at the time you place your order is the one that applies to it.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
